At the invitation of the German-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, I received an invitation to attend the conference Smart factory – digital solutions for industry “, where some German companies presented their production solutions, and some Croatian companies that have already developed and implemented them. How far we are from that remains to be seen. Although it has always been argued that these are also solutions for small and medium-sized companies, these examples from practice show that only large companies in several industrial sectors can afford it.
